Telvin Smith clears the NFL concussion protocol -
Jacksonville Jaguars leading tackler Telvin Smith has cleared the concussion protocol and was removed from the team's injury report after missing the past two games.

Smith was hurt in the Jaguars' 27-24 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in Week 12.

FILM ROOM: Jacksonville Jaguars get away with one on last drive of the Seattle Seahawks game -
The Jacksonville Jaguars surprised the hell out of everyone when they came out of the gate and built a two-touchdown lead over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. I had us pegged for a loss — a close loss, but a loss nonetheless.

And then Blake Bortles played lights out, the defense forced three turnovers, and special teams was as aggressive and productive as ever.

As the fourth quarter was winding down, big plays allowed the Seahawks to get within six points of the Jaguars. The score was 30-24 and Russell Wilson had the ball near midfield.

The defense needed to make a stand and they did — with a little help from the referees.

Paul Posluszny lauded as role model during his first winning season in NFL -
Coach Doug Marrone was just about to release his players for a two-day break Sunday when defensive end Calais Campbell, safety Jarrod Wilson and several other Jacksonville Jaguars chimed in with a request.

''Poz, Poz, Poz,'' they chanted.

They wanted veteran linebacker Paul Posluszny front and center.

Posluszny sheepishly made his way to the middle of the locker room to break down the huddle. It was a fitting choice following the team's ninth victory because it also secured Posluszny his first winning record in 11 NFL seasons.
