West Coast trips have not been successful to the Jacksonville Jaguars -
The Jaguars, a five-point favorite over the 49ers, have lost seven in a row on the West Coast, including losses by 24, 19, 28 and 41 points. Their last win was 2009 at San Francisco (20-3).

Early in their franchise history, the Jaguars traveled west as the favorite and went 2-2 (both wins at Oakland). They have played only once at San Francisco (the old Candlestick Park) and this will be their first appearance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

Blake Bortles says he’s fine with being “trash” -
After the Jacksonville Jaguars beat down the Houston Texans on Sunday to the tune of 45-7, Texans defensive lineman Jadeveon Clowney said that Bortles was still “trash” when asked about his development. That’s just a little salty from a player who left the field more times injured than he made tackles in the game. The comments don’t seem to bother Bortles, though.

What is Blake Bortles now? -
What if I told you that, statistically, there’s a defense this year that's comparable to the 2000 Ravens, 2002 Bucs, 2013 Seahawks and 2015 Broncos? You might guess (correctly) that it's the Jaguars, but it would take you second to get there. That’s because most of the discussion when it comes to the 2017 Jaguars still revolves around Blake Bortles.
