Week 17 odds: Jaguars are 3-point underdogs to Titans

The Jacksonville Jaguars are locked in as AFC South champions and have two more wins than the Tennessee Titans but that doesn’t stop Vegas from having them as 3-point underdogs on the road tomorrow.

It makes sense that OddsShark would have them as underdogs — Blake Bortles and the defense are both coming off one their worst games of the season and the Jaguars have nothing to play for while the Titans are win-and-in for the playoffs. A lot of things would have to bounce right for the Titans to lose and still be in the playoffs but a win and they’re in the Wild Card spot.

As for the Jaguars, no matter what happens tomorrow they’re the No. 3 seed and will host a playoff game for the first time in 18 seasons next weekend.

Pro Tip: Don’t bet on this game. It’s going to be wacky. We don’t know if or when Doug Marrone will be pulling starters, which ones he’ll leave in, which ones won’t even dress, and motivation is firmly in the Titans’ corner. Stay far, far away from this line.

The over is 41.0 points though. I’d bet the over.
