The Jacksonville Jaguars are hosting their first home playoff game since the 1999 season and coincidentally their opponent is the Buffalo Bills, who coincidentally haven’t made the playoffs since 1999. It seems most feel the Jaguars are the easy favorite in the game however, as Jacksonville opens up as 8.5 point favorites.

At first it’s an eye opening line, especially considering that the Jaguars are limping into the playoffs losing two games in a row, but when you examine it it makes sense. The Bills aren’t exactly streaking into the playoffs either, nearly making it thanks to the decision to inexplicably bench Tyrod Taylor for a game and start rookie quarterback Nathan Peterman.
Then you factor in the fact that the Bills may have lost LeSean McCoy for the rest of the season with an ankle injury. The extent of McCoy’s injury hasn’t been determined yet, but he was carted off in Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
