The Jacksonville Jaguars are second in the AFC South with an 8-4 record and still sit at the No. 5 seed in the AFC playoff race going into Week 14.
How does the rest of the AFC look?
AFC playoff breakdown
1. New England Patriots (10-2): AFC East leader. Screw Rob Gronkowski.
2. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-2): AFC North leader. If they beat the Cincinnati Bengals tonight, they’ll go back to No. 1.
3. Tennessee Titans (8-4): AFC South leader. They’ll probably win their next three games along with the Jaguars and then Week 17 will be a showdown.
4. Kansas City Chiefs (6-6): AFC West leader. Three-way tie with Los Angeles Chargers and Oakland Raiders and they’ll likely lose their grip on the division this week or next.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars (8-4): They’re two games up on the Wild Card spot with four games to go. Buddy,,,
6. Baltimore Ravens (7-5): I have no idea how Joe Flacco’s corpse has led this team to a winning record and a game up in the Wild Card race but here we are.
In the hunt: Buffalo Bills (6-6), Los Angeles Chargers (6-6), Oakland Raiders (6-6), and Cincinnati Bengals (5-6)
