2016 All-Rookie NFL team: Jalen Ramsey makes the cut

Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey made Gil Brandt’s 2016 All-Rookie NFL team, in the least surprising news of the year. Ramsey

According to Brandt, Ramsey fits the mold as the “perfect” cornerback:

Ramsey isn't flashy, but he makes everything look easy. If you were to assemble the perfect defensive back, it would look like Ramsey.

Ramsey was considered a shutdown cornerback all season by teams and national media, and considering the impact he had over the entire year, it’s no surprise he was in contention for Defensive Rookie of the Year, deservedly finishing behind Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher Joey Bosa — Bosa was the more productive player in four less games, he should have gotten it.
