Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Julius Thomas’ contract guarantee kicked in last week, before start of league year -
Not the first to report this but, despite conflicting reports, I'm told that $3 million of Julius Thomas 2017 contract money did become guaranteed last Friday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars should not pursue Tony Romo in free agency -
For someone reason today ended up being talk yourself into Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo joining the Jacksonville Jaguars day, as it was a topic of discussion on local sports talk radio this morning and appears as if it will continue throughout the day. I'm not sure where the article was that suggested that the Jaguars should be one of the teams targeting Tony Romo either via trade or in free agency if the Cowboys release him, but I don't really want to link to it if the argument was made in earnest.

San Francisco 49ers hire former Jacksonville Jaguars linebackers coach Robert Saleh as defensive coordinator -
Kyle Shanahan is reportedly opting to not add an offensive coordinator to his staff with the 49ers, but he’s found the head of San Francisco’s defense. According to Adam Caplan of ESPN and multiple reports, the 49ers will name Robert Saleh their new defensive coordinator.
