Approval poll: Do you agree with the Jaguars letting Kelvin Beachum walk?

The Jacksonville Jaguars let starting left tackle Kelvin Beachum walk after playing out his one-year contract and reaching the option portion of his deal. They could have re-signed him, but they chose not to — leaving Colin Kelly, Jeremiah Poutasi, Arturo Uzdavinis, and Josh Wells as the only other tackles on the roster who didn’t start at another position last year.

Our heart will go on, Kelvin.

Beachum had a solid season coming back from an ACL tear in 2015. Improvement in his play in 2017 was to be expected. Instead, the Jaguars created an unnecessary hole on their roster. They had a solid left tackle and now they have to spend unnecessary risk and resources trying to not only replace him but get better.

Assuming the Jaguars don’t bring Beachum back in free question — do you like the move? Will the Jaguars get better at the left tackle position, or will they regret letting a serviceable starter at left tackle walk?
