The Jacksonville Jaguars can give Tom Coughlin credit for signing Calais Campbell (he literally said he signed here in part because of the newly hired Executive VP of Football Operations) but it looks like we’ve got to give Dave Caldwell and John Idzik credit for landing top-tier cornerback A.J. Bouye.
Bouye told Mike Dempsey of 1010XL out of Jacksonville that he and his agent dealt directly with Caldwell and Idzik.
.@md_1010xl says he asked AJ Bouye's agent "who called you?" and the agent said they dealt with Dave Caldwell and John Idzik. #Jaguars

We give Caldwell a lot of crap on here, and rightly so most of the time — his drafts have been horrendous and his free agency hasn’t been much better. But it looks like Caldwell and Idzik got what many considered to be the top target for the Jaguars in free agency this offseason.
You won lunch yesterday, Dave.
