2017 NFL Combine live blog: Defensive linemen and linebackers

NFL: Combine Trevor Ruszkowski-USA TODAY Sports

The 2017 NFL Combine officially started this week and Sunday is when we get to see defensive linemen and linebackers — the most frequently mocked positions to the Jacksonville Jaguars in the draft.

And we’ve got all the news, rumors, and updates right here.

Live blog

12:28 PM: A very handy breakdown of how defensive linemen 40 times compare to their weight.

12:22 PM: Some very lucky team is going to get Tim Williams in the middle or bottom of the first round. We have him going to Baltimore in our latest mock draft.

12:13 PM: This is a good way to think about Myles Garrett as a long-term prospect. Still a consensus No. 1 overall draft pick.

12:06 PM: Whew.

12:05 PM: First a 4.64 time in the 40-yard dash and now this? You’re on the clock, San Francisco.

11:56 AM: Does Solomon Thomas fit the Jaguars’ needs as an edge rusher? He’s testing well enough to be a top-five pick.

11:41 AM: Oh.

10:06 AM: I’d rather have Malik McDowell in the first round than Jamal Adams, Jabrill Peppers, or Malik Hooker. (MLA citation: @HankJoness)

9:28 AM: Yeah, Myles Garrett is going No. 1 overall.
