The Jaguars have agreed to terms with free agent pass rusher Calais Campbell, per reports.
Calais Campbell is expected to sign with the Jaguars per sources

We discussed a few days ago how the Jaguars were reportedly interested in Campbell. With other teams also reportedly in the fold, many wondered if Campbell would be willing to come to Jacksonville over another team that might have a better chance of competing for a Super Bowl sooner. However, either money really talks, or Tom Coughlin and company gave one hell of a sales pitch.
Coming off of an eight sack season, the 30 year old pass rusher has recorded 56.5 sacks and forced eight fumbles in nine seasons. He adds tons of experience to Jacksonville’s young and growing pass rush, and will likely be moved around the entire defensive line to get to the quarterback.
One thing to keep in mind, and this cannot be stressed enough, is that nothing is official yet. While everyone at this point would expect this signing to go through, nothing can become official until 4PM tomorrow (Thursday). It’s ok to start getting excited, just keep it in the back of your head that sometimes these things can change before they become official. We will update this story as soon as more details emerge.
UPDATE: Looks like it came down to the Jags and Redskins for Campbell. Jags won out.
At the end, the #Redskins and #Jaguars were in it for Calais Campbell. When Washington bowed out he was Jacksonville bound.
