The Jacksonville Jaguars have one less guard to sign away in free agency as the Denver Broncos have signed away free agent guard Ron Leary from the Dallas Cowboys, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Cowboys G Ron Leary plans to sign with the Denver Broncos assuming no last-minute negotiating snags, per sources.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) March 9, 2017
Broncos to sign G Ronald Leary to a four-year deal worth $35m with $20m gtd, source says. Big money for a guy once lost in the shuffle.— Mike Garafolo (@MikeGarafolo) March 9, 2017
As far as I know, Leary was never on the Jaguars’ radar. But it’s still concerning that there’s one less interior lineman in the pool — especially after learning that Kevin Zeitler wasn’t coming to Jacksonville.
