It’ll be interesting to see if Campbell takes less money to go back home to Colorado. Campbell was born in Denver.
It was reported late last night that the Jaguars and Campbell had agreed to terms by CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora. But free agency isn’t official until 4pm EST so we’ll have to hold our breath for the next few hours.
We knew the Jaguars were going to have to “overpay” to get their guys here. And frankly, I’m fine with it. Gone are the days of Olivier Vernon or Robert Ayers not signing in Jacksonville because when all else is equal, they’d rather be in a larger, more potentially sponsorship-rich market.
WIN LUNCH, TOM.
