2017 Jaguars preseason schedule released

The Jacksonville Jaguars have released their 2017 preseason schedule and we’re less than four months away from more football — and that’s either exciting or groan-inducing depending on who you are.

Opening the preseason against the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots at their place is going to be a big deal and could come with a prime time slot right out of the gate. I don’t know how they managed this one, but it’ll be fun to see Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye up against Tom Brady for a quarter.

The next week is at home against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on ESPN and then the next week will be hosting the Carolina Panthers at home. We’ll then finish out the preseason on the road against the Atlanta Falcons for what seems like the 14th year in a row.

Week 1: August 10-13 @ New England Patriots*

Week 2: Thursday, August 17 vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN

Week 3: August 24-27 vs. Carolina Panthers*

Week 4: Thursday, August 31 @ Atlanta Falcons*

*Dates and kickoff times will be announced once they are set by the league.
