The NFL has announced the official preseason schedule for all 32 teams! Let's talk about which games should be fun and which should, well, suck.
Week 1: Jaguars at Patriots
Whether Tom Brady plays at all or not, it's the Patriots, and their third string team will likely have a field day against the Jaguars starters. (I’m only half kidding.)
Week 2: Buccaneers at Jaguars (on primetime TV!)
The Jaguars host the Buccaneers again in the preseason, and we will likely see the starters play a little more in this game than the first game.
The Buccaneers added Desean Jackson in free agency, so the Mike Evans and Jackson vs. Jalen Ramsey and A.J. Bouye matchup should be very fun.
Week 3: Panthers at Jaguars
After playing in Super Bowl 50, the Panthers fell off in 2016, going 6-10 and finishing last in the NFC South. Will they bounce back this year? With starters normally playing the most in the third game of the preseason, we will likely have a chance to figure that out.
Playing Cam Newton will also be a great test for the Jaguars pass rush, with Yannick Ngakoue, newly signed Calais Campbell, and perhaps the fourth overall pick (if the Jaguars draft Jonathan Allen or Solomon Thomas) leading the pack.
Week 4: Jaguars at Falcons
The starters normally never play in the last preseason game. With that being said, WE LIKELY GET TO SEE BRANDON ALLEN START AT QB AGAINST THE FALCONS AGAIN! WILL HE WIN THE REMATCH? WE WILL SOON FIND OUT!!
What are your thoughts on the Jaguars preseason schedule?
