The NFL released the 2017 NFL Scheduled on Thursday evening, meaning we finally got to see the order the Jacksonville Jaguars will play their opponents. For instance, we now know the Jaguars will open their season the road against the Houston Texans and already the Jaguars have been installed as a four point road underdog by some in Las Vegas.
It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that the Jaguars will open as road underdogs, as they're still a team who has only won 17 games in the past five seasons and have routinely been beaten up by Bill O'Brien's Texans, regardless of who is starting at quarterback for them. I don't anticipate the line will really move all that much, unless one of the two teams make a major move at the quarterback position.
I would also bet (no pun intended) the Jaguars end up being underdogs for the majority of their games this season once again. I could see the team being favored against the New York Jets early in the year, but that again also depends on what the Jets do at quarterback and how the first few games of the season goes for the Jaguars.
