There’s been a LOT of discussion lately about the Jaguars taking a quarterback with their fourth overall pick on Thursday night, with most of that talk has centered around former Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson. Watson appeared on The Dan Patrick Show this morning, where Patrick asked him specifically about being drafted to the Jaguars fourth overall.

If you jump to about :45 in the video, you can hear where Patrick brings it up to Watson. Watson’s reaction is immediate, as he makes a face that seems to indicate that he wouldn’t be overly surprised by that move. Watson starts to answer with “I’m pretty... I’m...” before ending with “I think so”. He then goes on to talk about how he came in for a visit with the Jaguars brass, a meeting that he says went great, before mentioning that Jacksonville does have a former Clemson coach amongst their ranks (Marion Hobby).
What do you think? Is this much ado about nothing, and is Watson just hopeful to be taken that high? Or do you think there’s a legitimate possibility that he could be the pick, and he is fully aware of it? It’s almost impossible to say right now, but the one thing we know for sure is that Thursday night should be really interesting.
