2017 NFL Draft Eve: Live blog for everything Jacksonville Jaguars

draft

The 2017 NFL Draft is close and the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to do everything they can to upgrade several positions with high draft slots in every round. They could go running back, tight end, quarterback, offensive tackle, defensive end, or defensive back in the first round and I don’t think most people would bat an eye — and that’s a testament to how many holes there are on this roster and how much work there still is to do to turn this team into a contender.

We’ll be updating this live blog all day (and running live blogs every day of the draft) and packing in every rumor, piece of news, and mention of the Jaguars.

Live blog

2:36 PM: This is fantastic news for the Jaguars.

1:20 PM: Shooters shoot.

1:04 PM: Maurice Jones-Drew is #correct.

12:28 PM: Hearing through the grapevine that the San Francisco 49ers aren’t interested in Solomon Thomas. I don’t suspect the Chicago Bears would be interested, so he could very well fall to us.

11:07 AM: Rich Hill from PatsPulpit.com has estimated times for every pick in the draft. It always goes quicker than this, but if every team dragged out every pick, this is where we’d be.

9:45 AM: If for nothing else, Myles Jack made Paul Posluszny pout — and that’s worth getting his autograph.

9:41 AM: Mike Kaye of First Coast News believes Solomon Thomas goes to the Chicago Bears. I think he’s at the top of the Jaguars’ board. What do you think?

8:00 AM: Here’s your mandatory post telling you when the 2017 NFL Draft is, what rounds are what days, and more.
