2017 Mike Mayock mock draft: Jaguars pick Leonard Fournette

The 2017 NFL Draft is finally here and the Jacksonville Jaguars could go one of six or seven ways with their first round pick tonight. And NFL Network’s Mike Mayock believes the Jacksonville Jaguars will upgrade at running back by selecting Leonard Fournette with the No. 4 overall pick.

Jaguars: No. 4. Leonard Fournette - RB

They have to get better on offense. Fournette runs angry. He changes their whole offensive philosophy. He'll take pressure off of Blake Bortles.

In short — I just don’t see it as a good fit.

Maurice Jones-Drew said it well yesterday: The Jaguars offensive line isn’t ready for Fournette. You have to create for a running back like him and our line isn’t good enough yet.

And picking someone like Fournette with the fourth overall pick would almost require a drastic overhaul of the Jaguars offense, based on how the personnel is currently constructed to make him fit. Otherwise, you're just putting a square peg in a round hole and hoping it works out — and I don’t want to “hope it works out” anymore with Blake Bortles as our quarterback.

What do you think? Should the Jaguars grab Fournette if he’s available at No. 4 overall? Let us know in the comments!
