Jacksonville Jaguars 2017 NFL Draft results, start time and more

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars-Leonard Fournette Press Conference Logan Bowles-USA TODAY Sports

The first three rounds of the 2017 NFL Draft have come and gone. The Jaguars have added some players to their roster to make the team more physical on both lines of scrimmage and in the run game. The Jacksonville Jaguars 2017 NFL Draft started off with the selection of LSU running back Leonard Fournette and they followed it up with grabbing Alabama offensive tackle Cam Robinson in the second round, followed by Illinois defensive end Dawuane Smoot in round three.

There are plenty of ways the Jaguars could go on Day 3 of the 2017 NFL Draft. They could decide to start picking from the pool of talented defensive backs left, perhaps look for another defensive lineman or a linebacker, maybe the team even wants to double dip on running back, with quite a few talented ones still left on the board.

Day 3 of the 2017 NFL Draft starts at 11 a.m. EST and you can watch it live on both NFL Network and ESPN, both of which have streaming options with a valid cable providers login information. You can also follow along with the draft using SB Nation’s Live Draft Tracker.

Live Blog:

6:14 PM: Tom Coughlin closing out the draft with a fullback is the most Tom Coughlin thing ever.

5:40 PM: Jalen Ramsey already calling teammates out.

5:35 PM: Jalen Myrick is the pick. Fast dude. Never heard of him. LET’S GO.

5:22 PM: Yeah, the Jaguars ain’t drafting a quarterback.

5:00 PM: I don’t know if this is encouraging or not.

4:43 PM: All of your running backs are belong to us.

4:03 PM: This... is not bad.

3:57 PM: Caleb Brantley goes at the top of the sixth round.

3:18 PM: I really thought the Jaguars would take him in the middle rounds. Blake Bortles, this is your show.

2:23 PM: New Jaguars linebacker Blair Brown posted All-22 film of himself on his own YouTube channel. Legend.

2:18 PM: Hmmm... some encouraging notes about Blair Brown.

2:10 PM: Still no tight end or quarterback. Whew.

1:38 PM: Oh.

1:18 PM: Matthew Berry thinks Leonard Fournette is an RB2 next year. Wow.

12:30 PM: The dirty laundry is being aired about Dede Westbrook.

12:29 PM: Short leash for Dede Westbrook.

12:17 PM: Dede Westbrook in the fourth round? Okay then! If you’re gonna go all in on Blake Bortles, you go all in on Blake Bortles.

12:03 PM: Well, now we might know why one of the more talented players left in Day 3 fell to there. Sorry to hear this about Dorian Johnson.

11:42 AM: Kansas City Chiefs still making moves.

11:13 AM: For what it’s worth, the Jaguars have picked some very highly touted recruits.

9:57 AM: Some were confused why the Jaguars chose Smoot over some of the more “name” pass rushers on the board, and now we know why.

9:45 AM: While we wait for the 2017 NFL Draft to start, please enjoy these two videos of Leonard Fournette and Cam Robinson.

9:35 AM: Who’s ready to continue the draft? The Jaguars still have four picks left in the draft, as they traded their sixth round pick when they traded up to pick Cam Robinson. They have a pick in each of the fourth and fifth round, as well as two seventh round picks remaining. There are a ton of good players left on the defensive side of the ball, so I wouldn’t be shocked to see the Jaguars start to gobble up corners.
