The Jacksonville Jaguars have drafted fullback Marquez Williams out of Miami with the No. 240 overall pick. Tom Coughlin ending his draft night with a fullback is the most Tom Coughlin thing ever.

This was the second seventh round pick the Jaguars made on Saturday, as the team picked up an extra seventh round pick from the Miami Dolphins in the trade for tight end Julius Thomas.
Williams was almost exclusively a lead blocker for the Hurricanes, but he was used some in the passing game. Even with the signing of a fullback late in free agency, it’s not a surprise that the Jaguars decided to still look for a lead blocker to support No. 4 overall pick Leonard Fournette.
At his Pro Day, Williams measured in at 5-foot-11-inches and 259-pounds, running a 4.73 40-yard dash. Williams is huge, playing at 280 pounds during his final season at Miami, but he does have some athleticism that isn’t too common at the position.
The Jaguars are done drafting for the day and will now begin working on bringing in undrafted free agents.
