The 2017 NFL Draft is less than 24 hours old, so of course we’re looking at who the Jacksonville Jaguars could select in the 2018 NFL Draft!
Dan Kadar over at MockingTheDraft.com believes the Jaguars finally get out of the top-five (yay?) but stay in the top-10 (oh no) and pick another offensive tackle in the first round (kill me).
7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mike McGlinchey, OT, Notre Dame
After getting Cam Robinson in the second round this year, the Jaguars could double up and finally get bookends. Maybe Blake Bortles can bounce back and get franchised.
It’s not a sexy pick by any stretch of the imagination, but at least it’s another step in the same direction they took this year: Leonard Fournette is our offense and we’re building around him. They did it with a first round talent in Cam Robinson this year and they’ll complete the cornerstones with McGlinchey who I’m assuming is good but have no idea because only Dan is high-functioning enough of a sociopath to know this much about next year’s class.
What do you think? Do you like the idea of the Jaguars double-dipping in consecutive drafts to get their cornerstone offensive tackles?
