The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed seventh-round draft pick Jalen Myrick to his rookie contract. Out of Minnesota, Myrick was chosen with 222nd overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft last month.
It's only fitting that the fastest player in @bigten history is the first #Jaguars draft pick to sign his contract.

Contract details weren’t released but Myrick’s earnings should be close to the 222nd overall selection last year: Tennessee Titans linebacker Aaron Wallace.
Wallace signed a 4 year, $2,428,167 contract, including an $88,167 signing bonus and an average annual salary of $607,042.
If Myrick’s name sounds familiar, it’s because he ran a 4.28 40-yard dash at the 2017 NFL Combine, the only person faster being Cincinnati Bengals first-round pick John Ross.
On the smallish side for an NFL defensive back, it’s likely Myrick will get playing time early as a special teamer and compete for a role as an inside cornerback. Myrick started 21 games in his college career at Minnesota, playing in a total of 47 games, picking off five passes.
