Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell went on Sirius XM NFL Radio on Tuesday night and talked about the draft and the team’s status with hosts Alex Marvez and Bill Polian. Check out our recap here, it’s pretty interesting.
One of the things that stood out was that Caldwell was very candid about the Jaguars’ need to get victories. “We’re in win now mode,” he said.
What does “win now mode” mean to you? What should the expectations be?

After four years of just getting better, the Jaguars are openly stating that they are in win now mode. While it is easy to poke fun at a statement like this from the Jaguars, I think that it’s a pretty big deal, considering it really signals a complete change in philosophy and culture. It also means that the team has higher expectations for themselves, so the media and fans should probably have higher expectations as well.
Let’s talk about what “win now mode” means to you in the comments below!
