Jaguars fifth-round pick Blair Brown was able to stand out during his senior season in the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The linebacker was a big fish in a small pond, offering NFL potential in an overlooked division. He has quickly learned it won't be that easy at the NFL level. Jaguars practices have a bit more urgency than Ohio University's workouts.

Brandon Linder working more at guard than center in OTAs so far -
The Jacksonville Jaguars were back on the field Thursday afternoon for more organized team activities (OTAs) and there was actually something tangible and interesting to come out of it. Jaguars starting center, well maybe not anymore, Brandon Linder indicated that he’s mostly been taking snaps at guard for the Jaguars so far in OTAs.

Is the market set for Telvin Smith? -
Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union instantly likened Christian Kirksey’s new four-year deal to Telvin Smith’s potential new deal when it was announced on May 30, 2017. Kirksey’s four-year extension is worth $38 million. That’s not a small amount of money and it’s probably reflective of his value both as a player and to the Cleveland Browns as an organization. In this writer’s opinion, Smith should be worth more.
