The National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame announced the ballot for 2018, and retired Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Zach Wiegert is among the 75 players.

A player becomes eligible once 10 full seasons have passed since his final year. Wiegert last played for Mississippi in 1995. The 2018 induction class will be announced January 8, 2018, in Atlanta, prior to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, and the induction ceremony will be December 4, 2018.

Here’s what the College Football Hall of Fame had to say about Wiegert’s college playing days:

Zach Wiegert, Nebraska, OT

1994 unanimous First Team All-American and winner of the Outland Trophy. Led Huskers to 1994 National Championship and 1993 National Championship game appearance. Three-time All-Big Eight selection who led Nebraska to league titles every year of career.

Wiegert played four seasons with the Jaguars from 1999 to 2002. He signed as a free agent before the 1999 and played in 16 games with 12 starts at right guard for a team that finished 14-2. In 2000, he started eight games at right tackle before suffering a season-ending injury in his left knee.

In 2001, he came back from injury to start all 16 games at right guard. Wiegert again went on injured reserve in the middle of the 2002 season and went on to get signed by the Houston Texans.
