Who is on your all-time Jaguars offense and defense?

The Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t had a lot of good teams in their 22-year history, but they’ve had some very, very good players come through the franchise. Whether it was the offense of the late 90’s or the running game, offensive line, and defenders in the mid-2000’s, there were great players to root for no matter when you started following the team.

Self-proclaimed most-hated man @DomWorld_Peace tweeted out who he thought would make up an all-time offense and defense for the Jaguars.

It got me thinking — who would I put on my all-time teams for the Jaguars?

Offense

Quarterback: Mark Brunell

Running back: Fred Taylor, Maurice Jones-Drew

Wide receiver: Jimmy Smith, Keenan McCardell

Tight end: Marcedes Lewis

Offensive line: Tony Boselli, Vince Manuwai, Brad Meester, Chris Naeole, Leon Searcy

Defense

Defensive end: Tony Brackens, Clyde Simmons

Defensive tackle: Marcus Stroud, John Henderson

Linebackers: Mike Peterson, Daryl Smith, Kevin Hardy

Cornerbacks: Rashean Mathis, Aaron Beasley

Safeties: Donovin Darius, Deon Grant

Special teams

Kicker: Josh Scobee

Punter: Bryan Barker

Kick returner: Maurice Jones-Drew

Punt returner: Reggie Barlow

For the most part, I agree with Dom. My differences are minor for the most part and would only be personal preference on how I like my offenses and defenses to run. Regardless, there are some players who transcend scheme and would be good on any offense no matter what.

What do you think? What would you change? Who would you have on your all-time Jaguars list?
