30 Day Challenge: Most Hated Opposing Player Of All Time

For the month of June we'll ask a different Jacksonville Jaguars related question to our readers. It’s the dead season and this will help us all get to know each other a little better.

Jaguars v Titans X

We’re almost done with our work through our 30 Day Challenge in the month of June and while we’ve already done an article on him this month, it’s time to talk about the opposing player Jacksonville Jaguars fans hate the most.

Which opposing player did you hate the most?

For me, it’s Steve McNair. I respected the hell out of McNair, but I absolutely hated that he ruined the Jaguars’ best chance at a Super Bowl run.

You would think that McNair just totally owned the Jaguars every time they played, but he was actually only 9-7 in his career against us. But, he threw for about 3,400 yards with 20 touchdowns and 13 interceptions and also racked up nearly 500 rushing yards and a couple touchdowns.

And in that 1999 season, he played the Jaguars twice (including the AFC Championship game) and threw a total of six touchdowns in those two games.

That Titans running game and the defense were instrumental in their getting to the Super Bowl over the Jaguars, but McNair was the heart and soul of that team. Without him, they aren’t in the AFC Championship game to begin with.

What about you? Which opposing player did you hate the most?
