NFL Network’s list of the top 100 players is supposed to be a collection of the 100 best players in the NFL, as voted on by players, based on their performances in the previous season. In recent years, the Jacksonville Jaguars have had a number of players on the list (with some received less favorably than others).
Count Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt as someone receiving his place on the list less favorably.
After missing out almost the entire 2016 season due to injury, Watt was included on the list at No. 35. Watt’s response?
I played 3 games... this list is a joke. https://t.co/KnKDX1p816

A wild good tweet appears from Watt.
Watt has been voted NFL Defensive Player of the Year three times, but he missed 13 regular season games and two playoff games last season due to injury. He may be one of the best players in the NFL, but he sure wasn’t last year.
The Jaguars have one player in the top 100 this year — newly signed defensive end Calais Campbell.
