3 Jacksonville Jaguars players make Pete Prisco’s Top 100

NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars-OTA Logan Bowles-USA TODAY Sports

Every offseason there are offseason LISTS. LISTS are big and often spark discussions. Unfortunately, the Jacksonville Jaguars haven’t been part of many good lists the past few seasons, outside of saying they had a good draft or a good free agency period. There’s a few lists starting to come out now that we’re in the heart of the dead season about top players.

Everyone’s favorite ex-Jacksonville beat writer and radio personality Pete Prisco, now with CBS, put out his own list of Top 100 players of 2017 and three Jaguars make the list.

62 Calais Campbell Jacksonville DT

He had eight sacks and was again a force against the run for the Arizona Cardinals last season. He signed with the Jaguars as a free agent this spring and will be a big part of their defense in 2017.

80 Jalen Ramsey Jacksonville CB

In a few years, he might be the best corner in the league. He is long and athletic and can run. He doesn't back down from a challenge either.

89 Malik Jackson Jacksonville DT

He signed a big deal as a free agent with the Jaguars last season and played to that deal. He didn't get a lot of sacks, but he was a force on their defense.

None of these players are a surprise to me, making the list and I’m not sure there’s anyone else I’d really put on there. I guess you could argue A.J. Bouye if you really wanted to, but I don’t think it’s a big injustice for him to not be on the list and he was mentioned as someone who “just missed”.
