With just 67 days until kickoff, let’s talk about T.J. Yeldon’s longest play from scrimmage to date — a 67-yard catch-and-run when the Jacksonville Jaguars went to go visit the Tennessee Titans.
December 6, 2015
The Jaguars and Titans were having an absolute field day with each other’s defenses. It was midway through the fourth quarter, the Titans were up 42-32, and the Jaguars were driving for another score.
On second down from their 26-yard line, Bortles looked deep briefly but then dumped it off to Yeldon over the middle. Wide open, Yeldon found about 15 yards easily before a Titans defender even got close.
But then Yeldon broke that tackle.
And then he broke another.
And then he just sprinted towards the left sideline, running out of gas and getting tackled just a few yards out of the end zone.
There haven’t been a lot of highlights the former second-round pick has given us, but this is certainly one of them.
