2017 Jacksonville Jaguars training camp: Day 2 live blog

The Jacksonville Jaguars have closed the book on Day 1 of training camp and they’re ready to hit the practice field for Day 2 this morning at 10:30am EST.

You can see a full training camp schedule here.

Yesterday, quarterback drills dominated practice and all eyes were on Bortles. His throwing motion looked improved, but his ball velocity looks slower than it did last year. And that makes sense: Bortles’ refined throwing motion isn’t his natural motion, so the ball isn’t coming out as powerful as it did with his natural motion.

What will Day 2 have in store for the Jaguars? Follow along with everything Jaguars by checking out our live blog throughout the day.

11:57 AM: So you’re saying... he blew it?

11:10 AM: Defensive line has been a point of emphasis today. Great shot by Mike Kaye of First Coast News.

11:07 AM: No bueno, Tommy Bohanon.

11:02 AM: Beautiful shot.

10:41 AM: Oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy

9:44 AM: Check it out, people! Day 2 starts in less than an hour.

6:30 AM: Here’s our video recap splicing together some videos from our own Zach Goodall and Mike Kaye of First Coast News. It’s not much, but with the team restricting video and photo access (even from local media) and the team practicing far away from fans, it’s the best we could do.
