2017 Jacksonville Jaguars training camp: Live blog for joint practice vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

NFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Training Camp Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars have returned to EverBank Field and are about to start Day 1 of joint practices against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Practices start at 10:00am EST and end at 1:05pm EST today and tomorrow. The sessions will be open to the public before a closed walkthrough on Wednesday ahead of their nationally televised Week 2 preseason game on ESPN.

What will the first day of joint practices with the Buccaneers have in store for the Jaguars? Can Blake Bortles bounce back from a practice where he was seemingly benched because of how poorly he was throwing the football? Can Dante Fowler have a good enough week of practice to not be as invisible as he was against the New England Patriots last week?

You can see a full training camp schedule here.

Live blog

12:33 PM: I love you, football. Day 1 against the Buccaneers is in the books. See y’all later!

11:54 AM: SUPER BOWL, Y’ALL

11:52 AM: Tyler Patmon has done everything he can to make this team. I hope he stays on the practice squad.

11:50 AM: Tyler Patmon has been making plays all training camp.

11:12 AM: I don’t disagree.

11:01 AM: Gotdamn, Cam Robinson is good.

10:53 AM: Maybe his arm is still tired.

10:50 AM: That man has a family, A-Rob!

10:24 AM: I’M (SOMEHOW) STILL EXCITED!

10:19 AM: Leonard Fournette not practicing today. Likely won’t play on Thursday night.

9:25 AM: More roster moves! Dwayne Thomas was a teammates of Leonard Fournette at LSU.

8:18 AM: Jaguars starting out the morning with a roster move. Josh Johnson was injured with a sports hernia, hence his move.

6:43 AM: I’m curious. Doug Marrone said Blake Bortles was held out because it was a pre-planned rest day for him. I don’t believe him — I think he was pulled because of how badly he was practicing. What do you think? Vote below!
