The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed rookie cornerback Dwayne Thomas. To make room on the roster, the team waived rookie cornerback Ezra Robinson.

Thomas was originally signed as an undrafted rookie by the New England Patriots in May and was waived shortly after the preseason opener. He attended LSU where he was teammates with Leonard Fournette. During his career in Baton Rouge, Thomas appeared in 41 games over his five-year career and posted 110 career tackles, 5.5 sacks, two interceptions, 20 passes defensed, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

Thomas will wear No. 29 for the Jaguars.

The Jaguars currently have 90 players on their active roster.
