Dede Westbrook had been mysteriously absent from the action for all of the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Carolina Panthers preseason matchup and now we know why. Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times-Union is reporting that the rookie wide receiver was out due to injury.
Injury is why we haven't seen #Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook tonight.

Westbrook has been one of the stars of training camp and the preseason so far for the Jaguars. He had led the team with seven receptions and 173 yards for one touchdown so far.
Apparently, Westbrook was sore in pregame workouts and held out as a precautionary. I’m fine with that.
Doug says Dede was sore from lower body injury and he held him out after warming up. #Jaguars
