Cole has appeared in 57 career games in five years in Minnesota after originally being drafted by the team in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft. Cole’s career totals include 65 tackles (40 solo), three tackles for a loss, and two passes defended. He appeared in all 16 games during the 2014 and 2016 seasons, earning a career-high 42 tackles during his sophomore campaign in 2013.
I really thought Cole had a chance to make this team as a veteran backup linebacker who could also play special teams seemed lacking on the Jaguars.
