Blake Bortles’ biggest problem isn’t his mechanics -
Charlie Taaffe had a first-hand view of Blake Bortles’s rise to stardom. He also has been paying close attention in the years since, as it’s all crumbled. Taaffe was the offensive coordinator at UCF during Bortles’s three seasons there (2011–13), which culminated in the best year ever for the program—a 12–1 record, a top-10 ranking and a thrilling 52–42 Fiesta Bowl victory over Baylor. Bortles that season was named the American Athletic Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year, and had he returned for the ’14 campaign, he would have challenged Daunte Culpepper and Ryan Schneider atop most of Central Florida’s program passing records. Instead, Bortles entered the 2014 draft.

Jacksonville Jaguars say Blake Bortles’ mobility a big factor in starting him -
To the surprise of many, the Jacksonville Jaguars named former third overall pick Blake Bortles the team’s starting quarterback for Week 1 of the regular season against the Houston Texans. Most who covered the Jaguars believed that Bortles didn’t really do enough to separate himself from backup Chad Henne to earn back the starting role after the competition was opened up, but Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone indicated there were a couple of factors beyond performance that went into the decision.

Great News, Jaguars Fan! Blake Bortles Is Your Starting Quarterback -
Roughly one week after head coach Doug Marrone suggested that the job was up for grabs, the Jaguars starting quarterback competition has reportedly been settled. The man to lead the offense for your 2017-2018 Jacksonville Jaguars will be Blake Bortles.
