The Jacksonville Jaguars have been without first round pick running back Leonard Fournette the past two preseason games and most of practice, as Fournette has been dealing with what’s being called a “foot” injury. On the Thursday Night broadcast on ESPN against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the announcers indicated it was a toe keeping him out and not related to his issues at LSU.
Thankfully, it appears Fournette is on track to be ready by Week 1, which is something some fans were starting to feel uneasy about with the lack of specifics.
Catching up with Leonard Fournette today, definitely appears his foot problems are behind him. Looked good making cuts in drills today.

The Jaguars run game through the preseason has left a lot to be desired, but getting back Fournette can only help it. There have been a few nice runs here and there through three games in the preseason, but overall the run game has looked just as poor as it appeared last season.
Fournette himself isn’t going to open up running lanes when he’s back in the lineup, but perhaps he can get more out of what’s there than the current group of backs can.
