NFL football is finally here!
(Well, sort of.)
The 2017 NFL preseason kicks off Thursday night between the Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys for the annual Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio.
Last year, the game was embarrassingly cancelled after the groundskeepers used the wrong kind of paint on artificial turn, then when they tried to heat the paint to make it dry quicker, they melted the protective layer of rubber on the turf.
This year promises to be... a little better. Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians has already said he won’t be playing any starters in the game. The Cowboys haven’t commented on the situation.
Regardless, football is back, even if it’s just preseason football. So today’s Question of the Day is:
Will you be watching the Hall of Fame game on Thursday night?
My answer: Yes, without a doubt.
Even the most boring of boring preseason games is enough to get me out of the house and into the bar. All summer, I’ve been subsisting on old NFL Game Pass, YouTube games, and Canadian football — NFL football (even the preseason’s preseason) has me looking forward to tonight.
Plus, there’s always Blaine Gabbert to watch!
What about you? Will you be watching tonight’s Cardinals vs. Cowboys game?
