The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed sixth-year long snapper Matt Overton and first-year offensive guard Malcolm Bunche.
To make room on the roster, the club waived/injured rookie running back I’Tavius Mathers and placed fifth-year long snapper Carson Tinker on the team’s reserve/injured list. If Mathers clears waivers tomorrow, he’ll revert to the Jaguars’ reserve/injured list.
Overton appeared in 80 games with the Indianapolis Colts after previously spending time with the Seattle Seahawks in 2008 and 2010. He was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2013.
Bunche has previously spent time with the Canadian Football League’s Hamilton Tiger-Cats and originally was signed as an undrafted free agent in 2015 by the Philadelphia Eagles. Bunche played collegiately at UCLA in 2014 after attending the University of Miami.
