The Jacksonville Jaguars will ramp up their practice schedule after seven days of training camp with a night practice at EverBank Field on Friday night starting at 6:00pm and going until 8:30pm.
Oh, and the Jaguars released their first (unofficial) depth chart of 2017. Yippy!
This is the last practice open to the public, so if you’re on the fence about going — do it! It won’t be live-streamed like in years past, so don’t think you can just follow along from the comfort of your own home.
But if you have to stay home, we’ll be throwing every bit of information, video, and analysis into this live blog.
7:55 PM: One more tweet because this throw is tremendous.
7:38 PM: Okay, folks, that’s my cue. I’m out. This is ridiculous.
Dante Fowler is running a lap around the field after a sack of Chad Henne. Obviously did something wrong. Touched Henne?— Michael DiRocco (@ESPNdirocco) August 4, 2017
6:54 PM: Oh, damn. That’s Sheldon Day knocking the hell out of Leonard Fournette.
6:47 PM: Leonard Fournette is #actually #good.
Sheldon Day just shoulder tackled Fournette, who fumbled in the backfield. (Audible noises in press box) #Jaguars— Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) August 4, 2017
Next play, Henne hits Fournette across the middle who streaks to end zone for a touchdown. #Jaguars— Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) August 4, 2017
6:29 PM: This is a really good pass from Brandon Allen.
6:26 PM: James Sample is gone, folks.
Looks like S James Sample, S Jarrod Wilson, DE Calais Campbell, G Earl Watford, TE Rivera, LB Horton and CB Patmon out of practice. #Jaguars— John Oehser (@JohnOehser) August 4, 2017
5:58 PM: Ah, well that answers my question about Mychal Rivera.
Rivera taking a backseat to Koyack isn't all that odd: Rivera is dealing with injury and Koyack is a proficient blocker (needed in 11 per.)— Mike Kaye (@mike_e_kaye) August 4, 2017
4:20 PM: Oh, this is nice. This is very, very nice.
4:05 PM: Looks like local media are getting a tour of the new practice fields at Daily’s Place. Sharp.
4:01 PM: The new practice fields look to be in working order.
