Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns went down in the team’s joint practice with the New England Patriots on Monday. There was some initial panic over the injury on Twitter, but shortly after Hurns was able to get up and get off the field.
Jags Allen Hurns got tangled up with CB Jon Jones along the sideline and remained down for several minutes. Finally limps off to locker room

Hurns has had an issue with injuries the past few seasons, especially concussions, however this appeared to be an issue with his legs as he limped to the locker room.
“They told me they brought him in and one other player just for evaluation and they will tell me when I get in,” Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said on Monday after practice when asked about Hurns’ condition.
The team has just stated that Hurns is being “evaluated”. With the depth at the position and the injury scared, I’d be surprised if Hurns was full go tomorrow with the team’s next session with the Patriots.
The 25-year-old wide receiver missed six games with injury last season, and while he hasn’t missed a lot of games with injuries, he’s been banged up quite a bit the past two seasons.
