The Jaguars offensive line has been a bit of a mixed bag so far through training camp, but even in the one padded practice Albert participated in, the reports of his play at the left tackle position weren’t all that great. Albert has played guard before in his career, so it’s possible the idea could be he kicks inside to one of the guard spots or even competes at the right tackle position.
Since Albert’s retirement the left tackle position has been a competition between second-round pick Cam Robinson and veteran Josh Wells, with neither really seeming to take hold of the position.
There are a lot of moving parts to this story and we will update as it develops.
