NFL: Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars kick off their 2017 season today against their AFC South divisional rival, the Houston Texans.

This is Doug Marrone’s first game as the Jaguars official head coach, after handling the duties for the final two weeks of the 2016 season as the interim head coach. If he begins his tenure as Jacksonville’s head coach with a win, the Jaguars’ six game losing streak against the Texans will be broken.
