5 hot topics for Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles -
With his power and internet still out on Tuesday, Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles said in a conference call earlier this week with the Tennessee media that he occupied his time playing darts by himself for one-and-a-half hours.

In the preseason, Bortles struggled with his throwing accuracy that led to getting benched in Week 3 against Carolina in favor of Chad Henne. But Bortles entered in the second half of the game and showed enough mobility and accuracy to regain the starting job for last week’s opener against the Houston Texans.

Friday injury report: Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans injury report -
The Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans have both released their Friday injury reports and both will have defensive backs missing the game — some a little more talented than others.

Jalen Ramsey is the big name on the injury report. He didn’t practice all week because of an ankle injury. I would imagine that if Ramsey has any say in it, he’ll be on the field. A.J. Bouye is good to go after illness made him miss earlier in the week. And center Brandon Linder was limited all week, but he wasn’t even designated with a PROBABLE so he’s good to go.

Don’t look now, but the Jacksonville Jaguars are exciting -
Let’s forget, just for a little while, that Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson tore his ACL and is done for the year. Let’s push aside the fact that Blake Bortles is still the team’s quarterback. And let’s forget that strange things happen in Week 1 every season. Instead, let’s allow fans in Jacksonville—and fans everywhere who just enjoy good football—to bask in the afterglow of an exciting Jaguars game. It may end up a fleeting moment, but at least on Sunday, Jacksonville was something it hasn’t come anywhere close to being in recent memory: fun to watch.
