The Jacksonville Jaguars will open EverBank Field for their 2017 home opener against the Tennessee Titans and we’ve got all the updates, news, rumors, and in-game analysis right here.

The Jaguars are riding high after a dominating win in Week 1 that saw Blake Bortles effectively manage the game in a way he rarely has in his NFL career. The Titans are on the verge of an 0-2 start after a disappointing trip to the West Coast.

Can the good guys start the year a perfect 2-0?

4:10 PM: After a few more scores by either team, the game ends with the Jaguars losing 37-16. Man, that was deflating.

3:17 PM: Jalen Ramsey hits Delanie Walker out of bounds after Titans increase their lead to 23-3.

2:59 PM: The offense can’t do anything other than go three-and-out. Special teams gives up a big punt return. The defense finally breaks, gives up 17-yard touchdown to Derrick Henry.

2:50 PM: Titans kick another field goal. Jaguars down 9-3.

2:41 PM: Blake Bortles with an awful, awful throw. Good Lord.

2:24 PM: Ryan Succop is good from 41 yards out. Jaguars down 6-3 at halftime.

2:19 PM: This defense is gassed. The defensive line is getting to Marcus Mariota but they can’t finish.

1:27 PM: Ryan Succop is good from 40 yards out. Jaguars and Titans tied 3-3.

1:13 PM: The Jaguars march down the field on a 12-play, 51-yard drive. Takes up 6:01 off the clock but only get a field goal. Jaguars up 3-0 in the first quarter!


12:46 PM: Jaguars inactives today against the Titans: RB T.J. Yeldon, CB Jalen Myrick, S Calvin Pryor, LB Blair Brown, OL Josh Walker, OL William Poehls, and DT Sheldon Day.
