Jacksonville Jaguars say they haven’t given up on T.J. Yeldon -
Though running back T.J. Yeldon has been a healthy inactive the last two weeks, Jacksonville Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said the team has not moved on from the 2015 second-round pick.

Yeldon has just been caught up in a numbers crunch on game day. Marrone said needs at other positions have kept the Jaguars from having Yeldon as one of the 46 active players.

Is the New York Jets matchup a trap game? -
First and foremost, it’s been quite a while since we could comfortably use the term “trap game” when speaking about a Jacksonville Jaguars opponent, but here we are.

In short, a trap game is a matchup in which a team is expected to beat its opponent, and thus may overlook them come Sunday or not prepare as thoroughly during the practice week.

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone nearly became the Jets head coach in early 2015, before the team decided to hire Todd Bowles instead.

But as the first-year Jacksonville coach prepares to play the Jets on Sunday, he said he has "no feelings at all" about missing out on the job nearly three years ago.
