The Jacksonville Jaguars have placed rookie wide receiver Dede Westbrook on injured reserve. He is eligible to return later in the season because he was on the team’s initial 53-man roster.

Westbrook has been one of the stars of training camp and the preseason so far for the Jaguars. He had led the team with 13 receptions and 288 yards for two touchdowns in three games.
It’s very peculiar that the Jaguars would have Westbrook play in the fourth preseason game after he got a second opinion on his sports hernia. Why did he even get dressed, much less set foot on the field?
Jaguars forever.
