The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted second-year linebacker Deon King to the active roster. To make room on the roster, the Jaguars waived rookie wide receiver Montay Crockett.

King, who has appeared in 15 career games, including nine with the Cleveland Browns this season, has also spent time with the Dallas Cowboys, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Indianapolis Colts before signing to the Jaguars practice squad on December 23, 2017. He attended Norfolk State University and led all Division I players with 163 total tackles in 2015.

King will wear No. 58 for the Jaguars.
