Jaguars vs. Steelers: Live blog for divisional round playoff game at Heinz Field

The Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Pittsburgh Steelers today in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs today. This is a game where iron will sharpen iron, as the Jaguars elite defense will face one of it’s bigger challenges of the year: A hot Steelers offense.

Will the Jaguars repeat their own history as the only team to beat Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, twice in the same season (2007)? Time will tell, but regardless, today’s game should be a fun one.

4:18 PM: I LIKE MY LAMBO AUTOMATIC! Josh Lambo hits a 45 yard field goal to make the score JAGUARS 45, STEELERS 35. Steelers are out of timeouts with 1:45 left in the game.

4:10 PM: JACKSONVILLE RECOVERS THE ONSIDE KICK AFTER AN ILLEGAL TOUCHING BY PITTSBURGH! Jaguars ball at the 36 yard line with 2:17 left.

4:08 PM: Ben Roethlisberger throws a backwards pass past the line of scrimmage (totally legal) to Le’Veon Bell, who takes it into the endzone. JAGUARS 42, STEELERS 35. 2:18 left in the fourth quarter. Nail-biter.

3:54 PM: WE HAVE A FULLBACK TOUCHDOWN!!!! Blake Bortles connects on a play-action pass to Tommy Bohanon for a touchdown! JAGUARS 42, STEELERS 28. 4:19 left until one of these teams is on to New England.

3:45 PM: Antonio Brown scores on a deep ball again, making the score JAGUARS 35, STEELERS 28. 9:05 left in the fourth quarter.

3:36 PM: After a beautiful deep throw-and-catch from Blake Bortles to Keelan Cole, Leonard Fournette (who returned for the second half after what looked like a bad ankle injury in the second quarter, scores his third touchdown of the day! JAGUARS 35, STEELERS 21. 10:34 left in the fourth quarter,

3:17 PM: Tashaun Gipson has been ruled QUESTIONABLE to return after injuring his foot. Took himself off of the field. Reported by Phillip Heilman of the T-U.

2:59 PM: On a drive entended ny a horrible late hit call on Jalen Ramsey (JuJu SMith-Schuster pushed Ramsey into Le’Veon Bell), the Steelers drive down the field and score on a Bell reception touchdown. JAGUARS 28, STEELERS 21.

2:34 PM: The Jaguars defense was just exposed on fourth and 11, as Martavis Bryant split the deep safeties and scored a touchdown. JAGUARS 28, STEELERS 14. 25 seconds left in the first half.

2:20 PM: YANNICK NGAKOUE FORCES A STRIP SACK (DRINK!) THAT TELVIN SMITH RETURNS FOR A TOUCHDOWN! JAGUARS EXTEND THEIR LEAD, 28-7!

2:14 PM: Leonard Fournette is now being treated in the locker room and is QUESTIONABLE to return, per Tad Dickman of the team.
